Himalayan Salt Lamp Candle

This candle holder has been made from a solid chunck of pink Himalayan salt.

There are no wires or bulbs involved. Add a suitable tea light or small candle and the flame sits inside the salt.

What makes this style different is how the candle looks once it is burning. The flame is partly surrounded by the rock rather than sitting completely out in the open. As the light reaches the salt you start to see more of the pink and orange colouring around the holder.

Made From Natural Salt

Every piece of Himalayan salt is a little different.

Some holders may be quite pale. Others can have deeper orange sections or darker lines running through them. The outside may also have rougher areas or small changes in shape.

That is normal for natural salt and means the holder you receive may not be an exact match for the photos.

Using Your Own Candles

Once the tea light has finished, just leave the holder to cool before taking the old candle out.

You can then pop a fresh one in and use it again.

A plain tea light works well. Just make sure it fits properly into the opening.

Around the Home

These holders are small enough to use in quite a few places.

They work nicely on a dining table, mantelpiece or side table. A shelf can work too as long as there is enough room around the candle.

Try to keep the salt dry when it is not being used.

The holder can get warm while the candle is burning, so give it a bit of time before moving it.
