Himalayan Rock Salt Candle Holder
This is a candle holder made from a solid piece of Himalayan rock salt. The salt itself is not the candle. A tea light sits inside the opening that has been cut into the top.
Once the candle is lit you start to see more of the colour in the salt. Pink areas can look warmer and some parts may take on a deeper orange shade.
What Makes It Different?
You may come across products called sea salt candles or salt-scented candles. Those are normally scented wax candles and are completely different from this type of holder.
Here the Himalayan salt is the actual material surrounding the tea light.
There is no added fragrance from the salt itself.
Each Piece Has Its Own Look
Natural salt does not come out looking exactly the same every time.
One holder may be quite pale while another has darker pink or orange areas. Small lines and rough patches can also show through the rock.
That is part of the material rather than a printed or painted finish.
The opening in the top is made for a tea light.
Keep the holder somewhere dry between uses. Salt does not need washing under the tap.
