3–5kg Himalayan Salt Lamp

At roughly 24cm tall, this 3–5kg Himalayan salt lamp has a decent amount of size without becoming difficult to place around the home.

The lamp keeps more of the natural rock shape rather than being cut into a neat or polished design. That means every one has its own outline. Some pieces may be taller while others are broader through the middle.

The salt is shaped by hand in Pakistan and sits on a rounded wooden base underneath.

What Comes With the Lamp?

A UK cable and E14 pygmy bulbs are included.

The bulb fits inside the salt and gives off the light you see through the rock. When the lamp is off, you mainly see the natural pink colour. Once it is switched on, the salt takes on a warmer orange shade.

The light will not always look completely even across the whole lamp. Thicker sections of salt may stay darker while other areas show more light.

A Mid-Sized Salt Lamp

The 3–5kg size works well if the smaller lamps feel a little too compact, but you do not want one of the really heavy floor-standing versions.

It can sit on a solid side table or chest of drawers. A sturdy bedside cabinet may also work if there is enough room for the wooden base.

Check the space first, as the exact width can vary from one lamp to another.

You may also see natural lines or darker areas running through the salt. Rough patches around the outside are normal too.
