White Himalayan Salt Lamp 4-6kg

At around 4-6kg, this is a fairly substantial white Himalayan salt lamp. It has more size to it than the smaller table lamps but is still manageable enough for use on solid furniture.

The pale salt is what makes this version stand out. White Himalayan salt can range from an almost chalky white through to cream or very light pink. You may also see darker lines or small patches running through the rock.

Those differences are normal. The salt is a natural material, so the lamp you receive will have its own colouring and surface marks.

Once you switch the lamp on, the pale rock can take on a warmer shade. Thicker parts of the salt may stay lighter while other areas show more of the light from inside. The lamp can look quite different once the room gets darker. During the day, you see more of the pale salt. In the evening, the light inside starts to show through much more.

At 4–6kg it needs something solid underneath it. A sturdy side table or cabinet would work better than a light shelf.

The shape can vary from one lamp to another too. Some pieces are a bit wider while others stand slightly taller.

The white salt gives it a much lighter look than the usual pink or orange lamps.

If you want something with a bit more size but do not want one of the really heavy floor lamps, the 4–6kg version sits nicely in the middle.
