Grey Salt Sphere Lamp

A grey salt sphere lamp has quite a different feel to the usual rough-cut Himalayan salt lamps.

The salt has been shaped into a ball with a smooth rounded outside. There are no sharp corners or pointed edges, which gives it a simple look from every side.

Grey salt also changes the appearance quite a bit. Instead of the stronger pink and orange colours you normally see, this one has a deeper and more muted shade.

Once the lamp is switched on you may notice warmer colours coming through parts of the sphere. Other areas can stay much darker. It will depend on the piece of salt and how thick it is in different places.

Why Choose the Sphere Shape?

The round shape keeps things simple and looks good from pretty much any side.

You do not really need to worry about which way the lamp is facing either. Just put it where you want it and the shape works from most angles.

The rounded shape can also be a good choice if you are not keen on the sharper edges of a cube or pyramid lamp.

You could have it on a side table, cabinet or shelf where there is enough room for it to sit properly.

The grey colour will vary a little from one lamp to another. Some pieces may be quite dark while others have lighter patches or natural lines through the salt.
