10kg Himalayan Salt Lamp
This is a fairly big salt lamp at around 10kg and roughly 30cm tall.
It has enough size to stand out in a room, but it is still smaller than the really heavy floor-standing lamps.
The salt comes from Pakistan and has the usual pink colouring when the lamp is off. Once you switch it on, more of an orange colour starts to come through the rock.
The lamp comes with the bulb and cable, and there is a solid wooden stand underneath.
As it is a natural piece of salt, they will not all be the same shape. Some may be a bit taller, some wider, and you may see darker areas through the rock.
It is quite a heavy lamp weigheing at 10kg. It is worth choosing where you want it before you set it up.
A strong side table or solid cabinet would suit it better than a light shelf.
The outside is left quite rough, so each lamp has its own shape and finish.
If you want a salt lamp with a bit more size to it, without going for one of the really huge pieces, the 10kg lamp is a good size to look at.
