12–15kg Himalayan Salt Lamp
At around 12–15kg, this is a seriously chunky Himalayan salt lamp.
It stands roughly 32cm tall, although that measurement can vary a little because every piece is shaped by hand in Pakistan.
When switched off, the rock has its natural pink colouring. Once the bulb is on, warmer orange tones start to show through the salt. The thicker parts can stay darker, which gives each lamp its own look when lit.
Because of the weight, it is worth deciding where you want it before getting everything set up. A solid cabinet, sturdy low table or suitable floor position makes more sense than a lightweight shelf.
The outside is left with plenty of its natural texture, so rough areas, lines and changes in colour are all normal.
The lamp comes with a UK 3-pin cable and two spare bulbs, which are handy to keep for later.
If you want a Himalayan salt lamp with real size to it, the 12–15kg version is one of the larger options without going all the way up to the biggest pieces in the range.
Why the Weight Can Vary
The lamps in this range will not all weigh the same.
One may come in closer to 12kg while another could be nearer 15kg. That does not necessarily mean one will look much bigger either. A shorter piece can sometimes be wider and heavier.
That variation comes down to the individual piece of salt used to make the lamp.
